In the 1960s, the deputy mayor of Guidel Louis Le Montagner wanted to create a major tourist center with the VVF center
thalassotherapy and Maeva. The opening of the coastal road in 1955 will involve a wide enthusiasm for this station.
The thalassotherapy center never opened but are in a different form today with the complex "SPA OCEANE"
VVF is now called Belambra.
